I purchased a small colony of blasto merletti that came on a chunk of LR.

I have glued over a few aiptasia that I have noticed, but just saw these stem/worm like things on the back side of the rock.

I haven’t noticed them moving, but they certainly look worm-esque. Some type of tube worm maybe? Feather duster?

Any ideas? TYIA

Photo using more white lite would help but it looks like a a feather duster. Make sure it’s not some form of Aiptasia.

Appears to be a tube worm which uses fan to capture food and not a duster. However, this is an educated best as picture is heavy in blue lighting and if you can, retake under white lighting.

Tube worm. (at least on the left). They favor brine shrimp. To starve them and have it go away. . simply direct flow towards, not at it and it will not be able to acquire food.
