Hello everyone! Please help me identify these things that are growing on my rocks like algae but have worm-like characteristics. I have no idea. They are clear with darker tips and all grow to about to the same size in bundles. It looks like spikey hair (this is not hair algae) and pop when I try to grab at them. I will try to post the best pics I can. Please heeeelp! They are freaky. Any info on what these are and or how to eradicate them.. ohhhh I will be so thankful...... What do you think these are?!

Just looking back at this old thread when I was first starting out with little knowledge-
this is a form of algae called cladophoropsis, or green wiry algae and it was super easy to remove with hermits, they absolutely loved the stuff. I also stopped doing anything that would cause such an outbreak which took a little time and research to actually know how to maintain stability and what to aim for. Peace and love to all!!!
