Hello all ! I recently installed a UV sterilizer and in that journey, I really focused on flow rate and tank turnover rate. From what I’m reading one to one and a half time turnover is better for fish parasites rather than for algae. In my set up, I am running two various 10 the one I most recently hooked up to the UV turns over one time an hour. I guess my question overall is in a mixed reef tank of 233 gallons or so what are some suggestions that I should be running the second pump at ? I am currently running to Max back 40s on each end of the peninsula two MP 40s on the right side and two set a very low flow at the far back wall “left rear “.
