if you are still doing it, try this.
recipe:
1 cinder block
duct tape to suit
bread ties or any thin wire to suit
cannon fuse
2-3 dozen assorted whistling/popping roman candles
duct tape together as many roman candles as will fit in to the cinder block.
wire tie adjoin RC's fuses with the wire.
place in to cinder block.
feed the cannon fuse through the tied fuses.
light fuse.
step back.
oooo and ahhh as they go off.
