At approx $150 per headunit, its reeeeeeeally hard to beat Noopysche -vs- the $800 per headunit of Radions.

I can buy roughly 5 Noops per 1 Radion.

The Noops perform great.... and at that price they are a throw-away-and-replace consumable if a unit goes bad.

Can't imagine how I would react sitting at breakfast eating cereal starting off the day going over-and-over again in my mind my next step on what to do that my $800 light unit burnt out. Thats a weeks wages in my book. Wowzer....

A Radion would be a heavy investment to me. Can't justify the 5x higher price.

By and far the Stratons. Silent, look good, amazing coverage, more PAR available than you need. Mounting options aren’t great until the release the rail to the US. Replaced 5 G5 XR30 Radions and couldn’t be happier

So I’ll be in the minority and recommend something very few people run (in the US anyway), but I’m in my 6th year of the same light setup on a 15 y/o system. I posted some recent pictures, this is worth checking out:

Those look great, price is good too.

Currently using Lumateks and Phoenix 14k 250w halides to get the system up and running. Bought some reflectors on marketplace and might do 250w SE radiums for a change from the old setup. Will need new bulbs anyways these Phoenix had a year or so in them before sitting a decade.

I like the idea of LED but sticking with what I know until the system is back up and stable. Just got it topped off with water last night.

On my 40b I replaced my viparspectra 300 with 2 hydra 26 HDs. Love the better color, control and schedule. The viparspectra had a better blanket lighting but the coral seems happy so good enough.
