While I swore against giving Petco business after many terrible in-store experiences, nearly every LFS around me has gone out of business over the past few years, and the ones that remain aren’t of the best quality. Last year, Petco did a 50% off sale on all of their marine life, and I ordered various fish for insanely cheap prices. The fish they send out are directly from Quality Marine and never touch any of the petco tanks, and while I quarantine all fish anyway, these fish were among the healthiest that I have ever seen. This year I decided to place an order again, this time also looking into their invertebrates. Once again, everything arrived in the best health and expertly packed. Additionally, if there is an unfortunate DOA, they will send out a new one, free of any additional shipping charge.

This year, they are also doing a 20% off sitewide deal, and it can be combined with the 50% off sale, so you can place an order and receive 70% discounts on everything. The best part is that the $135 minimum for free shipping is calculated before any sales are applied, meaning that you can spend around $50-60 for six or seven fish and pay nothing for shipping. While I would never shop at a petco store for livestock, this online deal is too good to pass up, and because the fish come directly from the supplier, they are always in perfect condition.

Petco has 50% off + you can stack an extra 20% off, their free shipping threshold is only $140 but can get down to $120 free ship with the 20% coupon (They apply the coupon after hitting free shipping threshold)

This 50% + 20% discount puts some of the clams at $25 (yup) and yasha gobies around $28. I didn't check all the fish, most of it is out of stock but there are a few things.

The 20% off coupon caps at $30 but you could do multiple separate orders (which kind of makes it pointless for them to try and cap it).

The Reefdose 4 is amazing !! I upgraded last year and will never go back. U can change the dosing amounts from anywhere in the world - ie while I was away for a month in Bali and my Trident showed that say Alk was trending down I could up the dose as needed and continue to fine tune Alk, Cal and Mag from the other side of the world

I don't really have an answer for you. I overlooked it this time around lol, when I got my trident used it came with ABC reagents, slipped my mind last year when I ordered a set and slipped it this year also. Could've saved myself like 30 bucks.

I don't know if I'd trust the fish personally anyways. 100% would qt atleast.
