Petco.com fish ships directly from quality marine, the same supplier that a lot of fish stores get their fish from. You basically skipping the middle man

I remember horror stories a few years ago. Around the time of petco acquiring LiveAquaria. I wasn't even aware that they didn't own them anymore, shows how much I pay attention.

Just something to keep in mind, premium aquatics sells map priced items at the same price as brs but has the sales tax calculated into the price. It can be a substantial savings on high priced gear.

Definitely avoid getting fish from Petco physical stores because the physical store tanks are managed by idiots and infested with ich. The online store however is usually direct from quality marine. Even when you claim a DOA, you end up going through quality marine.
