While I didn't find anything reef related (yet), I certainly found lots in terms of Christmas presents for the family! Need to take another look to see if I can find any reef stuff before BF ends!

Got a high end mystery coral from Top Shelf for $100. Turned out to be a Chicago sunburst bubble tip =P.

Is that good or bad? Seems like you got your moneys worth but... depends if you wanted a coral or.. an anemone.

It's good! I just happen to have an anemone tank with a few rainbow bubble tip. I just have to make some room for the new Chicago sunburst. A sunburst is usually $300-$400 so it's a good deal.

They have the regular sea salt for $35. It has the alkalinity I run at. I am switching from reef crystals.

Yeah, I use two part so I can adjust the Ca up a little. I like to have it around 400 ppm.

Nothing too crazy, but I did see on Friday on BRS the Aquaforest OceanGuard aquariums are going to be 40% off. Anyone know how they measure up to Innovative Marine or Waterbox?

I will cancel my aquaforest that was supposed to ship weeks ago and pick up a bunch of these. Hard to beat that price.

I got the avatar frag from my LFS Black Friday sale. It’s a very nice looking coral! I paid $20 for a nice chunky frag.

Mine shipped yesterday.. went from Los Angeles, CA to TN for some reason. (I'm in AZ) Never made it to me, and has been delayed in TN. I hope those fish and coral make it. Super bummed, it was supposed to arrive this morning from 7-1030am!!

That’s how FedEx works. Overnight always goes to TN. UPS doesn’t do that.

I once had a package overnighted from 2 hours away by Seattle. It went to Tennessee and then came back to Seattle to my place. They could have put it on a ground truck and got it to me in 1 day. I considered driving but shipping was about $20 and fuel for the 4 hour round trip would have been about $40 and then my time.
