What ceramic clay is used to make frag plugs?

I thinking of making some custom disk but don’t know what clay to use. Any body know what type of ceramic clay is used for plugs and disk?

I can fire it just need to know what clay to use.

Ok I have my clay about 45 pounds of it and should be testing fired plugs hopefully by the end of next week. If anybody would like to try a few I'm willing to send them to a few people for free (you pay shipping)as long as you let me know how they work.

Nice. I did this about a year ago and some good results. Do you plan on fireing them in a kiln?
