The ones that live, lol.
My stags are the most rewarding in my system. The grow well and I really like the looks of them.
I cant imagime having a system without them.
I have:
Green slimer
Surf and Turf
Purple stag
Blue stag
Blue Matrix
Green wild stag
Here is a few pics of some as of yesterday.

I love the stags! I had one but it died to a melafix dosing in the tank (I hate myself for doing it). Is that the purple stag in the second photo?
Also what’s the neon green/cyan Staghorn?

Yes it is. It has been moved once as it survived a mushroom attack.
Check my build for info and pic.

I’m going with pulsing Xenia. People seem to think they are weeds, but I find the pulsing polyps very relaxing. Sure they spread a lot but they are easy to prune and transplant. I bought one stalk about 11 years ago and now have them in my 65 softy tank, my QT tank, my refugium and even in my SPS tank. My clowns who never met an anemone that they liked, love the Xenia. They seem to be very non aggressive and never inflict damage on surrounding coral (they always loose the fights)

Ignore my terrible glueing skills. It’s pretty brutal. But it’s a toss up between my Platagyra and my Acan Echinata. I enjoy watching the feeder tentacles come out on both of them at night but especially after I feed polyp booster and reef roids. Just starting out I have a small Muy Verde bird nest, a JF Enchanted Forest bird nest, the Platagyra, the Echinata, yellow hornet zoa, LPGSP, Midnight Daisy Polyp, Xenia, and a Banana Hammock Anacropora. Had high hopes for the Anacropora and in real life viewing it sucks. Looks like a white stick on top of my rock work. But I’ve made up my mind that I’ll be getting more Echinata for sure.

I find my Hammer garden to be rewarding. Each one is a different color. Each were grown from frags. I also find digies to be rewarding as i look for non common colors for the collection. My red planet is rewarding as it is my first arcro.

I've owned coral that others love and I hate. I've owned corals that others hated but I loved. I've also hated coral that I've grown to love and loved coral that I grew to hate! WHEW! Basically what you like is what you like and that's all you need to worry about. With that in mind today let's talk about the coral that has been the most rewarding to you and why that is. For me it was the bounce mushroom. Never liked them. Hated the bubbles. Not for me. Until someone sent me a freebie the size of a dime with an order and it grew big! Today it's my most favorite coral. It's most rewarding to me because of how it puffs up, sways in the current and of course the extreme bright orange and yellow color that is has. What about you?

What coral has been the most rewarding to you in your reef tank and why?

iPhone image of my bounce mushroom. For size reference that frag plug is a large frag plug.

What is this? Frag plugs for ants?
