I think we can all admit it. Corals get expensive. Especially if they’re not going to be visible all the time as much as the ones in the front. But most of us want a tank full of corals all around and very little rock visible. Which corals do you keep in the back of your tank?

All the ones I accidentally broke off while cleaning and can’t reach LOL

I keep cyphastrea and zoas in the back usually.
I’m planning on some cyphastrea. Zoas are too expensive for me to put in the back.
My Xenia, cloves, and captain jerks have spread into the back.
Otherwise I keep my sinularia in the back because it’s huge and towers over everything.
I was considering a sinularia
The only ones in the back are what’s fallen off the frag rack and as mentioned above , I can’t reach them .

230 gal 27” deep .
Oh yikes. Seems like you need one of those grabbers

I put in my zoas (so they climb the back wall) and my stage horn corals that grow tall but are not necessarily my prized pieces. I also have a birds nest.
I've seen this on a couple of tanks where the zoas grow on the glass a little. Is there any chance this turns into a giant mess and all the glass is covered or for that matter not to have them cover all the glass? I can see my tank from the back so would still want that. I guess scraping them off would be easy if push came to shove?
