What could that orange lump on the torch skeleton be?

Hi Reefers,
attaching the image of my torch which has those white and orange lumps on its skeleton, more worried about the orange lumps. Do you guys know what it is? whether to leave it or what can be done about it ?

Looks like a sponge

scrape them off. They will cause issues down the road. Use whatever blade you are comfortable with. One is already growing too close to the base of the torch.

They don't look like sponges, but colonial tunicates.

Looked at the photo a second time, Sorry, whites are the colonial tunicates, orange is the sponge. I would remove both to be honest.

Also i noticed the tentacle being stuck to the orange part, looks like its glued to it
