I just got done assembling my structures. I use a whole 10oz. Bottle of the @Bulk Reef Supply extra thick superglue. I did the superglue and baking soda trick to get them to bond. After it set for a few hours I flipped the structures and reinforced each joint and dusted with baking soda again. These bad boys are rock solid. The cardboard underneath the rockwork is the inside dimensions of the tank and I gave myself two inches clearance all the way around. This tank is going to be a mixed reef lit by an Ap9x so I took the light spread into consideration while building. I may end up adding little bits here and there but this is it for the most part. Any questions or comments are welcome!

I’m thinking possibly third structure in the middle that looks like it connects with one or both of the others. Something like this but with a smaller top piece.

New structure has been built. I think it is what was needed. It looks like a piece of the left structure but is free standing.

Looks good but I think I preferred the first iteration. Mainly cause I was visualising some showpiece micromussa in that middle sandy bay.
II may end up tweaking the placement a little and pushing it to the rear and keep the front open. It’s nice to have the options.

Less is more, and as a user of the AP9X I would advise you to not go any higher. Let the corals grow towards the light and let the two point sources spread the light as much as possible. That's a lot of light on a tank that size. You'll be more than fine.

That’s kinda what I was thinking on height. I tried to envision acros and montis and stylos growing up and out in the upper areas filling the tank out with color. I wanted to get away from the stacked rock look. More circulation = better, healthier tank.
