I collect it in a water barrel in the backyard and use it to water the garden. When we had a RO system for drinking water, we had no idea about the waste water going down the drain... Starting my fish tank and learning about RODI helped me learn more about waste water and how wasteful it is...

FYI, found out only using my waste water to water the garden wasn't enough so I had to turn our drip system back on, but programmed to water much less... I don't know if I'm just watering more but I swear all my plants have grown more this season than ever before... maybe it's the waste water they like...

Down the drain...no use for it, would be nice to have a more efficient RODI given that my source water is about 10ppm...:(

I run my waste water through a second ro membrane. My tds pre di is like 3 so it’s not a big deal. Cuts my waste water in half, and makes more water. I pay for city water so it’s a big savings.

I have two drums. One drum for RODI, one for waste. I pump waste water to the washing machine or fresh water tank occasionally over the past three years

With source water that clean you could change your flow restrictor to make it use less water.

Use a lower ml flow restrictor? I have a 1000ml now, it’s a 200gpd system. Sorry don’t know much about this.

I send it outside to let nature recycle it.

Currently down the drain, but have been contemplating burying a 500 gallon or larger tank to use it for watering the garden.

Wait... your TDS is 10? At that rate I'd skip the RO entirely and run a 3 stage DI setup. 0 waste option :)
