So I like them but how do you keep them concentrated in one spot. I don't like them that much that they spread like wild fire. That's what is keeping me from getting them. There is some that look amazing .. anyways thanks
A rock island will keep them in one spot.

It's ZOA (zoanthid) week here at R2R! Were going to be centering our QOTD topics around those little colorful tiny button polyp flowers of the sea! How can you not love zoas? Well I know some of you do not and that's ok but man they are hard not to love! They come in such a beautiful variety of color, they grow pretty fast, they are easy to frag and trade and the list goes on! So let's talk about zoas!

Are you a zoa lover or zoa hater?

What do you LOVE or HATE about zoanthids?

I love mine… have several different kinds waiting for them to cover everything.

My only complaint is that it limits the kind of fish I can keep. No butterfly’s, hawkish, angels… but on the plus side, that saves me a ton of money.

Hey man I have a coral beauty and it has won my jerk of the tank award for being a jerk and chasing the wrasse pointlessly, it used to get the same from a flame angel I had, but both have been model citizens with regards to corals not one nip, maybe I'm one of the lucky ones and the fish grew up being surrounded by zoa's maybe played a part too, unless you mean the big angels, then yeah I know what you mean it saves a lot of money, that said the flame angel and coral beauty were 40 pounds each now they're selling at 230 pounds per fish so definitely a lot of money saved nowadays.

I love them but I dedicated a rock separate from the rest of the aquascape so they grow isolated and without having to worry about them taking over my tank.

Still a work in progress. Hopefully by the end of the year the rock is fully covered.

How come if I’m watching a thread why do I not get alerts that people are chatting or posting pictures? And I can never find the thread to see what’s going on

Don't worry they will eventually spread to other areas
