what do you think is the bet filter media??

Just got my reefer 3xl 900 together. The system comes with 4 media baskets right after the sump drain. What would you use in each of those 4 chambers if it were your tank and why?

I like a filter pad that I can rinse in the sink once a day, quality carbon, and a phosphate remover. You can mix a pinch of gfo with some carbon and put some pads on top in a media cup (or a sock) and then use socks for the rest. A reactor after the socks is ideal, but it's up to you.

So should pull out 2 of the media holders and use that section for filter floss. makes sense
