I did a super weird customized 72x22(??)x30, peninsula style. It looks fantastic as a room divider, and is set high up. But it was stupid of me to have it only 22 inches deep. I thought I wanted a slimmer profile, but an extra two inches would be nice.

Who built your tank?

I didn’t get them on mine, but TankMeUSA offers the triangular corners as well.

I got it made locally- Aquatic Oasis Designs. They’re relatively new, but they were the custom-aquarium people from Ocean View Aquariums.

Do these actually hold up over time? It looks like you can still slam a razor or scraper underneath the triangle, which would defeat the entire purpose...

You can’t- the triangle goes up all the way to the panel. Just the top view looks odd

You mean the silicone that looks like it is underneath the triangle from the top view actually is not?

Yessir- it’s just to fill in the upper-edge chamfer of the glass triangle: so it wouldn’t have a recessed area. They have to chamfer the entire panel of glass, you can’t just leave a small portion un-chamfered.

Without that silicon in the chamfer, would probably have salt creep in there and look weird.
