Yes and thanks the nitrate is a little high I’m doing water change rn!redness is usually a sign of bacterial infection in sharks. what are the water parameters? nitrate, nitrite, ammonia? unrelated, but Does it have a cave or ledge to hide under during the day,
Yes I have an snowflake eel in here and he has no issuesI've been reading your posts last couple of days. Is this tank cycled?
Nitrates have nothing to do with this particular issue. What is your ammonia reading?Yes and thanks the nitrate is a little high I’m doing water change rn!
+1It means it is severely stressed and it’s immune system is breaking down. What is the ammonia level in the tank?
Umm let me see I check yesterday it was in the greenIt means it is severely stressed and it’s immune system is breaking down. What is the ammonia level in the tank?
I’m trying to answer everyone there is a lot of ppl taking to mea small water change isn’t going to help. you would need like a 75% water change with water the same temp as the tank. it might need antibiotics. you also didn’t answer any of my questions so i won’t be replying to you again in the future. can’t help you if don’t listen and respond. gotta love internet forums,,,
Definitely a bad sign. You really need to get all animals out and let the tank cycle or get some prime and neutralize the ammonia ASAP.Umm let me see I check yesterday it was in the green
For a year+1
How long has the tank been set up for?
Hard to tell from the picture but it looks way too high. I would do a large water change with matching temperature and salinity ASAP.Umm let me see I check yesterday it was in the green
