My Kessils have broke and I have seen some people using the old DIY method of lighting their refugium (and for cheaper with actual customer service to support their products.)

What spectrum of LED bulb would I need - I have the fixture to house it already.

I've had good luck in the past growing chaeto in a fuge using simple screw-in CFL 6500K "daylight" bulbs from Home Depot/Lowes. There are LED versions in that color spectrum now and if you can find a 'spotlight' style bulb (kinda like the ones Chortanator linked), they'd probably be the best, but I bet a simple clamp on reflector and a normal looking 6500K or 5000K would work just fine for ya.
