What intensity and color spectrum should I use with a Kessil A80 for an RBTA?

It's hovering over a 15 gallon Innovative Marine tank with a goose neck.

It currently has 2 paired Clownfish (I've had for a 2-3 years now) and it will be a clownfish/anemone only tank.

I realize I'm pushing the limit on size here but I'm using high quality materials including Tropic Marin salt and no other coral.

This thing gets really dang bright and I'd be surprised if it needed 100% intensity but I''m curious what peoples experiences have been.

I would run 100% intensity. I would pick what color settings you like best. Don't have it too high off of the tank. This measurement indicated its not strong enough for bubble tips but I have not personally used the light with bubbletips so I cannot say for sure

thanks so much for the tips. my bubble tip is being drip acclimated right now. a big bubbly rose. I cant believe that a160 is at 100%! Well, I think my A80 will probably be closer to the water than yours at least. With some mysis shrimp spot feedings I hope it will be okay. A search comes up with a few people using the a80 with RBTA with some success.

I had an rbta under that light in an even smaller tank - im10, and the nem browned out.
You’re going to want an ai prime or a bigger kessil...

bummer thanks. Worst case I will have to sell this as used and buy a 160. I've lowered the gooseneck and will leave the window shades open and hope for the best for now. settings are 8.5 hours 100% intensity.

We had A80 Tuna Blue on daughter's 10g and nem didn't like
What settings were you on and how long does it take to notice the nem doesn't like it?

She's already on the move. A little lower, down to a crevice and stopped.

There are some cheaper lights that could grow them if you didn't want to spend that.

I switched to Kessil 160we and I think the nem loves it. I thought Id be dealing with health issues but instead just hosting issues. Thankful for that, however, my 2 year old clowns won't host yet. I'm going to be patient. Eventually with size or splitting I feel like they will host something. Worst case scenario I get some porcelain crabs.. I know some people do more coaxing, forced interaction etc, but those were babies. Mine are feisty young adults.

Shot with LG G8.

That rose looks happy and healthy! What type of clowns are refusing to host?
Thanks I've recently upgraded to a Kessil a160we. They are Darwin Ocellaris of the Amphiprion ocellaris. Still no host. They are almost 2 years old now.
