I don't have a heater or chiller on the big tank. It stays right around 80 degrees. Doesn't really get below 79 or above 81 much.

I keep the nano at 78.

75.5-77. Set at 76 in winter it drops to 75.5 in the middle of the night and sometimes get to 77 late afternoon

I'm just curious to see what and why everyone is running their tank's temperature that way. Has it been effective for you at that temperature? Do you wish it was hotter or colder? How are you cooling your tank if it gets too hot etc.

78F year round. I use a top of tank fan in the summer to cool.
