winter night: 73.4°F winter day :75.2°F
Summer: 77.0- 78.8°F
My Giant Cinarina died in mid-summer when outside temperatures were never below 86.0°F and, most of the time, were 95.0°F.
Some corals are collected from southern Australia, where water temperatures are relatively cold.

78 year round controlled by apex. I used to have a hard time keeping it cool in the summer until I moved my sump to a remote location below grade in my lower level. Cooler down there temp stays pretty darn stable now.

I've got my inkbird set to 78 so plus or minus 1 degree. Thermistats on my heaters set to 79 and my apex shuts off the power at 80 just in case.

77 degrees mainly because that's what Tropic Marin hydrometer is calibrated at and seems like a reasonable temperature.

Inkbird keeps range of 76.9-77.5 at all times assuming I trust the reading (calibrated to Inkbird CheckTemp).
Only time temp varies outside that range would be during power outage.

78° F.
ON @ 78.6°-78.8°. This will sequence/Drift between 78.5°F to 78.9°F.
I decided on it being loose so the fish had some fluctuation.
I might drop the temp to 77.6°-78.1°F Then Tighten it up, using a season table.

I recently added a Glass Top, and the heaters kick on half as much, BUT it will linger 0.3°F passed the Target.
( This is my Temperature Chart: Two Probes Display Blue, Sump Orange )

78 degrees, use to be 76 but I like 78 better. I asked my Clown, and she was like it's too cold in here, I turned it up and she was much happier.

I am joking of course, she doesn't actually talk but does send telepathic messages when something is wrong.

Ok, I'll be a dissenting nerd...
Mine is set at 299K all the time. However, I don't monitor it to see how much it swings as the controller (Inkbird) does it's thing.

This looks very stable. How do you manage your heating/cooling ?
Thanks! I’m using the Innovative marine helio heater + hydros controller for heat. Cooling is just the central AC for the house. No way the wife ever lets the house get over 78° if I get to have a reef tank!
