Any idea what this could be? All other fish alive.... Although i noticed white stingy poop week ago... They are getting fed with Api General Cure since than. All fish went through copper, prazi....

Internal parasites can be common in wrasses. So feeding metro can be beneficial, that said is also common for wrasses to nose dive glass or rocks and experience spinal injuries. Sand depth and a small ramp period can help with this a little. Mines only about 15 minutes, just so its not bam, daylight.

If have methylene blue on hand can help with heavy breathing. 30 minute bath.

Sub due lights or turn off. Try to remove stress as much as possible.

Sorry for your troubles. Can you please post your current water parameters?

Did you add anything new to the tank recently?

Was the fish laying on its side and breathing heavy before the FWD Or was behavior normal prior?

When I zoom in on the first couple photos it almost looks like it could be lympho. See the thread below, does it resemble this in person?

Parameters are good:
Alk 7
Calcium 420
Magnesium 1400
Nitrate 20-25
Phosphate 0.2
Yes, fish was on side , heavy breathing before FW dip.
Unfortunately i added few frags while ago. I think that’s the only way i could get something in!

You can try Prazi Pro , otherwise antibiotics will be the answer would definitely warrant the use of metro/focus. Feed for at least 10 days mixed with food

I’m actually feeding General Cure. Would be more beneficial to also add Prazi in water?

Might be better to switch to just feeding metro.

So this article is referring to liquid Prazipro not praziquantel that is found in GC. You never want to feed Prazipro but feeding praziquantel in powder form as found in GC is recommended.

Metro is already present in GC as well as praziquantel which is beneficial against internal worms/parasites.

That sucks. If all your other fish are fine and would agree it’s injury related.

If it was a sudden occurrence and not gradual, I’d lean injury though I’ve had few non fairy, flasher, or sometimes halichoeres wrasse with these injuries.

Any red sores on the sides of the fish?

If you’ve fed GC for a while prior I doubt it’s internal parasites. Sometimes things happen and without a biopsy we just can’t be sure. I’ve seen/heard of uronema around the spine of wrasses which can cause their demise. @Humblefish showed me some. Gruesome stuff.

All good yesterday. He was happily swimming around.
No red sores.
Fish is still laying on side behind rocks.
