I don’t have a 40b but I have a nuvo20 with two lights over it. One is ran at 90% (over sps) and another ran at 70% over lps. I kept their settings but white maxes at 15% for me because it’s visually pleasing.

Have some issue with sps atm but I don’t believe it to be the lights as they were fine for a couple months before it started. Also Walt Disney and a pink lemonade are totally fine.

My settings are from the video you posted. That isn’t ab+ but it is their recommended schedule for the new 16hd. The ab+ schedule they released for the older primes doesn’t look the same on the newer ones.

Also Saxby’s schedule is quite good. I started with the standard scheduled and then you can always ramp it up if you see the corals are struggling…
You can download it from the AI website

Here it is. I’m using Saxby’s with slighly higher values.

I guess it all depends on the corals you have and how they are placed in the tank. Best advice is to choose a setting and keep for as much time as possible. Corals will eventually adapt and thrive. Many people have “simple” schedules and still have astonishing tanks!

just don’t start blasting the corals with too much light. Better to start with a lower light intensity and raise it in a second moment, if you see the corals are struggling

Thanks a lot for sharing. You have sps's? And they are thriving, with this schedule?
