What a beautiful fish (and happy)!! Thank you for sharing. You know of my Yellow 'Deuce' ...he is 18 yo now last week and when purchased about 3 inches, now probably just shy of 5... he eats well, and is in a 90 4 ft long....
The yellow has been 5" now for some time, don't really see him/her getting larger, very timid fish and not at all dominant. The gem is about 6" and was the last tang introduced, the yellow and gem hang together all day, the black tang is the boss, typically puts the mimic where it wants, which is usually around the regal angel and the chevron just zips around the tank all day picking at the rocks.Do you expect your Yellow to grow much more if at all? What about the Gem Tang? How big is he now?
The tang gang; yellow, black, gem, mimic and chevron. Angels; regal, coral beauty and a strange yellow, blue and gold hybrid. Damsels; pair of lagoons, pair of blue devils, yellow tail, jewel, 3 clowns. There is a tail spot blenny, diamond star jaw fish, blue spot jawfish.Nice. What’s the rest of your stocking list?
how big was the Gem when you got it and do you think it will get any larger?
gorgeousMy First yellow Tang about 5" got him about 1 year ago, such a beautiful fish I didn’t know how active they were such a pleasure to watch.
My tangs and I YouTube Aqualink MEGA lab to watch the Yellows on a Hawaiian research camera. Big, Fat Tangs.
**** warning, the lab nerds do not want to hear how happy their research camera makes my tangs....
