I flew a few thousand miles to go to WWC (well not just WWC, there was a vacation involved too)
But it always makes me laugh when I think about the size of the US when compared to the UK. In the time some of you are driving to get to a LFS, I could drive the entire length of England and be halfway home.
My favorite local stores are 50-60 miles each way through nasty Seattle area traffic. There are 3 stores within about 10 miles of each other. If I hit all 3 it's a 6 hour trip.
Last year I went from my house in Olympia Washington to a store in Portland Oregon.
250 mile round trip.
I moved a few months back and used to live five minutes to the only LFS I will purchase from, now I am about 30 minutes away but I will still find a way to go.
I had scheduled a 90% water change that weekend but realized my RO membrane had gone south. Wouldn't have any other day off for another 14 days so I made an early morning journey for a RO membrane. I still managed to make it back in time a for a wedding reception late that evening.
We often go to various LFS that used to be close by where we lived, they are not now. Our drive is 1300km (810 miles) from Lausanne, Switzerland to Manchester, UK, through France and under the tunnel, takes 14hrs if non-stop but we usually take our time and take 24hrs. The RV always has CUC, Fish and a few other goodies in there..... Reefin on wheels
Whats going on, Las Cruces doesnt really have a lot of stores. But there are some local reefers to you. IM in EPTX. @Matthias7 is in Cruces! Hes a cool Reefer
