I've seen some Genesis threads out there, but none on where your collective Avatars come from or represent. Mine comes from a discussion we were having on 3Reef many, many years ago. One of my besties was giving me guff about something (can't remember what exactly) but the discussion started going back and forth about my connection to Man-Bear-Pig. A South Park reference describing Al Gore's character on a random episode (half man, half bear, half pig). It amused me, so I adopted it as my Avatar. And it has followed me.

What about yours?

Mine is also South Park themed. Several years ago my daughter was into SP and for some reason she decided to to do a Halloween scene with Stan dressed up as Raggedy Ann. No way for me to have the whole scene for my avatar so I just used the portrait. I used to have a different anime picture my daughter drew but I was told it didn't meet the criteria of the board and they deleted it.

My recent one, I had to make a logo for an upcoming coral show. So I used AI, with the prompt " Starfish overlooking a coral reef, wearing sunglasses and a tangerine speedo" This is what I chose to represent "Tangerine Speedo's Fabulous Corals"
We will see how well I do if I keep it or not. LOL.

My DT is only a 40 cube, so I have to trim a lot. Plus I have another 30g and a frag tank. I figure I am going to be at the show anyway, Might as well try to make more money then I spend.

Mine was originally a picture of the Death Star with a Golden State Warriors logo in the circular space where the laser is. That wasn’t very reefy so I eventually changed it to a top down picture of my first Rainbow BTA.

The name “ Doctorgori” is just the main evil protagonist from the Japanese TV series “Spectreman” and has no real meaning whatsoever
The Avatar I use is “Howard Codsell” a mid fold cutout from Parliments #1 gold selling “Motor Booty Affair”…no real reason for that either
