There are times in this hobby when there is something we want that might seem a little expensive. Instead of asking our significant other we jump the gun and buy whatever it may be. I am wondering what is something expensive that you bought for your tank that you might have hidden from your significant other.

I don’t hide the purchases, but I do remind her that after 6 months she can’t cut her purses in half, sell a half, and recoup the original cost.

Same, we have a joint account for bills. We both put in our agreed upon amounts based on our respective salaries each month. Then everything else stays in your own account. Makes life a lot more peaceful.
