My original iwaki lasted 20 years also .... not really all that surprised though. More surprised when one of my PanWorld pumps died after just two years. Most of mine are still ticking along at 10 years plus.

A bit surprised at the longevity of my vortech dryside motors. Not 15, but I have a couple that are 8. All the futzing people seem to do replacing bearings and all that. User error me suspects.

Danner mag drive 9.5 pump use for close to 20 years, it still works but it's on the shelf now, had to get a fancy DC pump for some reason

My Eheim 1250 is 12+ years old. My Mag-7 is over 15. Not really unexpected though, I bought then specifically because of their quality.

Got an Iwaki pump i bought very used already probably 15 years ago. I have retired it...not because it is no good, but i now use more energy efficient pumps and kept it as backup.

Got a few black boxes i bought around 2012/2013 still going strong. They took a couple years off when i took tanks down for awhile, but around 8 years of working for those very early black boxes has surprised me(did have a fourth that failed after about 3 years though)

Bubble blaster 3000 skimmer pump worked well for me for alost 10 years without replacing impeller even until just recently i broke a couple pieces taking it apart. Almost bought a new pump but instead grabbed some epoxy and it going like it brand new again.

For those of you having great luck with the MPx0's am jealous. Were nothing but nonstop fixing for me(usually wet side, but dry sides also and occassionally controller).

Hydor Smart Level ATO. Used the same unit when I was running discus tanks and repurposed when switched over to saltwater. Been at least 8+ years, never skipped a beat. So good that I bought another one as backup a few years ago. That one is still sealed in box, will end up being a collector's item. ;)

For me.... my dryside Vortechs. 'Dem suckers have been spinning trouble free for 15 years. Also my Reef Flo Hammerhead pump. Been pushing water for 10 years.

.
I still run an Euroreef protein skimmer, over 15 years old.

I have a Mars Aqua black box that's about 5years old and still ticking. I've heavily modified the LED layout so I can run it near max power and removed the lenses and spread and color is outstanding.

I recently bowered a XR15 Blue from a friend and compared to my BB. The bare lens BB easily matched the PAR of the XR15 but the BB had better coverage. The XR15 also needed all the channels maxed to keep up in terms of PAR. This resulted in a much greener / browner light while my modded BB just looked perfect. Goes to show that BB's aren't living up to their full potential while the expensive name brand lights are wasting too much light on non relevant wavelengths.

I had a Rio that I used as a return pump for 15 years. I stopped using it for every day use when I upgraded to a DC pump. I still use the Rio to push water from my mixing station to my aquarium. It's been bulletproof.

First generation AI LED lights .... I mean really .... FIRST, they are so old ... they don't even have a name. I have never found a picture of them anywhere. Still work. A little glitchy but I'm about to open them up and blow out the cobwebs.
Also the pond pump that is running the return on my 90. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin....

That's easy.. the tank itself... I bought my 55 used, back in 1990. It has been a FW, SW, FW and a dry terrarium and survived a fire directly behind it (the original light hood cord shorted out and set fire to the drapes)... It still holds water and aside from a few scratches, looks fantastic.

I have an original Hagen 802 power head from the late 90’s. In use it with filter floss for polishing. I also still use an aqua controller jr for mixing. I had an older version of Neptune controller also, bought around 2000. If I find it I’ll snap a pic.
