2 entries for the groups perusal.

Knobby sea rod (Eunicea), which is an attractive and nearly indestructible Coral. Photosynthetic, but responds well to a variety of solid foods with an excellent and visually rewarding polyp response.

Any of the Tubipora genus. If you want the motion in your tank of a xenia but without the proliferate habits, long stem pipe organs fit the bill. Most fluoresce well, and the pipe skeleton adds an architectural element.

For a shock of color, ease of care to the point of bulletproofness, the Purple Stylophora can't be beat.
I bought a small frag which almost died because of water conditions, my tank matured and this thing, on the verge of death came roaring back and is beautiful.
Nothing in the tank can match the vibrant color except maybe my purple tang.
Not my picture but hopefully within a yr mine will be that big!!!

Me either! It is about the only thing I cannot keep alive. I have not solved the mystery yet.
It’s been a while since I tried, and I’d love to get a cheap frag, but every time I stop and decide to get something else I’m more confident in. Of course that logic killed a bta…

Here are corals that have bullet proof for me. I've had large phosphate swings, have moved the tank twice in 2 years, and have modified the lighting schedule frequently. I would consider them very easy.

Rhodactis mushrooms, euphylia hammers, xenia, anthelia, GSP, and duncans

I’d say mushrooms are super easy for a large group of people. They do well in a variety of water qualities and parameters, usually reproduce at a satisfying rate, and come in a ridiculous range of colors.
