Any help identifying what this algae is would be greatly appreciated.
It’s green and has bubbles all over it.

I did a tank transfer about 2 months ago. Added new sand but everything else came from my 4 year old tank. I had some diatoms right after the tank was running and then everything was looking good until about 2 weeks ago. I started losing sps very quickly. It was usually the freshly cut or brand new to the tank that would bleach overnight.
Today, most everything is closed up.

Alk - 8.5
Ca - 425
Phosphate - 0.03 (this did get down to 0 for a couple days about 5-6 weeks ago)

I had literally the exact same thing happen to me a few months ago. Moved tank, new sand, sps died shortly after, greenish brown algae began growing on my sand...vacuumed / wc like crazy for a couple of weeks and it cleared up pretty quick. Everything is finally back to normal but I costed my tank 6 months of growth moving it. Plus sps casualties

That makes me feel a little better. Did your LPS and softies ever look stressed during this? Today was the first day for me that those didn’t open up.
Trying to decide if I should take some corals out and set up a temp tank until this stops.

I had some random zoas close up for a few weeks. LPS didn't miss a beat but I could have also inadvertently poisoned some of the zoas with copper or something - long story. So I may have had other things going on other than a mini cycle but it cleared up pretty fast!

Your tank will have an assortment of algae for the next few months. Manage parameters, remove excess by hand. Drastic measures are only needed if things get crazy. What you have now is just a normal tank during the ugly phase.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. Here’s an update. Lost a fish last night, found it in the am laying at the bottom of the tank. Lost a couple more sps pretty quickly. Lps just look irritated. I sent an ICP test off and received the results back today. I’m posting them here. As far as algae, looks now like it’s more some type of hair algae and not so much of the sheets of algae with air bubbles.
Alk has been at 8.2-8.5
Phosphates are higher than I would like at 0.11
Nitrates - 5ppm

from what I can tell, silicates are high
