If you got that very cheap you really lucked out. That’s a great looking chalice. I could easily see that frag being sold for $250+ from most vendors.

Agree with everyone, chalice, and a nice one.
Could be an echinophyllia.
The angulation of the large corallite makes me wonder if it's a mycedium.
I've not personally seen a mycedium in those colors though.
Very cool!

It’s a nice chalice! You lucked out...
You need to try and get rid of all that hair algae you have growing in your tank though! You will have a lot of problems with it taking over your tank and hindering the growth and health of your corals!
Yeah I know :( I started this tank from a tank that a anemone suicide bombed. I was not present so I guess it caused a chain of deaths. The new nano tank uses it's big rocks that may have alot of nutrients absorbed. It was a dirty tank anyways. But this nano tank has nirates<2.5 with refug and low phos (teamrowa). Though algae still grows from nutrients in the rock, it should subside after a few months I think
