So I was checking my corals today and I noticed something that looked almost like a feather duster sticking out from one of my corals. I picked the plug up and it didn’t retract like a feather duster normal does. Does this look like Aptasia. I got this coral free in a purchase about 4 weeks ago and just noticed this sticking out now. I took the coral out right away just in case it’s Aptasia. Any help would be grateful.

Looks more like a clove polyp or something like that to me. It's not aptasia.

I’m not sure what we are looking at, but I also don’t see aptasia anywhere on that frag

+1 for the clove polyp, also I was think at the beginning for ball anemone, but not sure. Defo isn't aiptasia.
Do the zoas look disturbed, or they open w/o any problem ?
