I was doing a quick once over before the lights on the display went out and this is why I saw caught in the sump....what the heck is it!!! I've dipped everything before it goes into my tank

Aptaisia, carefully cut the cheato around it and remove it before it spreads.

well it's not a scarey spider it's stupid aiptasia. Thank goodness I was about to have a heart attack thinking it was gonna bite me
