Hey all. Got this plating monti few weeks back. Dipped on bayers and coral pro.

Today I just realized it has these white spots on it and a white thing next to it. I suspected its vermetid snail for the thing next to it. But what is the white stuff above? Just detritus?

I decided to pull the frag out.

Just make sure theyre not nudibranchs. They dont look it in the pictures but make sure those white spots dont move or anything. You can also google search montipora eating nudibranchs so you know what they look like.

I dont see anything that looks like them. The eggs are usually extremely tiny. I would check all your montis at night with a flashlight just to be safe. I dont think you have them but better safe than sorry
