Hi guys can anyone help me in identifying what this is? It's like brown stuff with white flower tips. Thanks for the help.

Looks like the coral is extended out
Idk it looks like some type of algae and it has like some white flowers or clear flowers growing by it and its tra fei g to the rock as well. It's around the base of the frag not coming directly from the coral.

Well it looks like alot of the hydroid online pics. Thanks for the info. I tried to research how to kill or get rid of but didnt see any good method. It's just starting so I think I'll try to do like I do with first sight of aipstasia and just put glue on it. Going to take the frags out to quarantine and glue up the base and put some glue on the rock. Unless theres anything like a dip that would work. Anybody know if dip or peroxide might work? Thanks

You can febenzadole dip to kill it, there are a few threads on how to do it on r2r, natural predators would be mimic tang and tiger cowrie
