This lil red thing has been growing slowly at first I thought it was some type of algae but idk now it feels a bit gooey

Could be a Red Sea lettuce, like an Ulva. Those feel gooey to me. It can get out of hand if there’s nothing to graze it.

I see quite a bit of green in there too... looks like you could use some more herbivores in the tank... urchins work wonders.

looks like a type of algae to me...just take that rock out of the water and remove it/ scrub the rock. DO NOT TRY AND SCRUB IT UNDER WATER !
