I originally thought this was some type of algae, but after closer look I notice what looks to be some type of anemone looking critter? Does anyone know what this is. It has skinny long stringy tentacles sticking out of the sand. When doing a water change with no flow I noticed the tentacles moving.

I can't see much from the pics but do a search for aiptasia and spaghetti worms based on your description.
