Never heard of hot vinegar but keep it simple.
Using syringe, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

Works great! I gave up on kalk lol…

Kalk works for me close to 3 decades and many others suggested to 100%. If you mixed wrong or do not get the center core- will fail

I have melted one aptasia with lemon injected into the mouth.. saw the bubbles and it dissipated almost instantly. There is another one though that just is not having it.. Waiting for it to get just a little bigger to try again. It found a hole it can recede into.

Lemon juice also works

I used lemon juice on my last couple. Squrited them then sucked up the pest. Did that until it was all gone.
Kalk paste is finiky. Try to do one that's upside down... Won't work.

Yeah that's what I'm using on it. lol Wife's response: uhhhh... you plan to do what with that syringe???? :grinning-face-with-sweat:
I was fortunate to acquire some from work being in trauma but did first try walgreens and that look the pharmacist gave me said it all
