Have had Radions, Orpheks and now Stratons. IMO, of the three the Straton is far superior based on coral coloration and growth with the accompanied increase of Alk and Ca demand alone. The problem is finding them.

I have not tried Philips but they are fanless so the noise should be 0Really great info. I have radions on my living room tank and agree the fans are extremely annoying. I’ve been thinking about making a change because of the noise. I have orpheks on other tanks and the fans are hardly noticeable. I haven’t tried the ATI Straton but it looks amazing and no sound is a huge allure to me. How’s the noise on the Phillips?

Settting up a new tank. Torn between the Stratons and new GNC blue ray pro. Are the gnc easy to setup? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

The GNC are easy. Web app. Simple and haven't adjusted my schedule once I set it - lighting should be something you don't have to worry about once it's set up.
