What kind of algae is this?

Title. I looked through numerous threads and can’t find a picture of this stuff. It’s green and a little translucent. It grows out of the sand, and along the base of my rocks. Each shoot only grows about a half inch tall. Slow grower. Emerald crab, hermits, and snails aren’t interested in it. It came in long ago on a cerith snail. I thought I had scraped it off the shell sufficiently, but nope, now it’s growing in my tank. It’s much better than the dinos (I’ll take algae all day long), but I’d like to know what it is and how to put it in check.

Almost looks like Hapnea but hard to tell. Need some more light in those shots.
