I’ve had my tank running for about a month and a half now. I’m having algae issues. Any suggestions why I’m having issues and how I can help rid the algae

Looks like GHA covered with Cyanobacteria.

Test for Nitrates and Phosphates to get a base line.

Use only RODI water.

Manually remove what you can. Typical ugly stage probably driven by elevated nutrients.

You can try some Phosban or similar product, set up an algae turf scrubber, add some chaeto (research where and how to place and grow chaetomorpha), and add to your CUC.
