Hi guys,

Would appreciate if you could identify the kind of mushroom that I recently bought from my lfs. She said she doesn't exactly know the type.

Also she told me that it will get bigger and split. Would appreciate of you could give me tips on that.

Thank you so much!

Bumpy, but not too bumpy...I believe that's a Rhodactis shroom.

Actinodiscus/Discosomas tend to have flat, non-bumpy discs, also tend to be cheaper than Rics and Rhos
Ricordeas tend to be very bubbly/bumpy, and are the more expensive mushrooms in the hobby
Rhodactis are a mix between Ricordeas and Discosomas in terms of bumpiness. They have a variable price range (bounce mushrooms are rhodactis I believe, and those are ridiculously expensive)

It gets bubbly at times. Is it normal?
What about the chances of this guy splitting?

They'll definitely split and/or bud if they're happy.
I started with 2 small ones on this little rock, now there is about 8-9 a few months later.
