Hi! I’m a new member to the reef world! I noticed a nudibranch in my tank tonight, but I was having trouble identifying what kind it is. I think it’s an aptasia eating one (Berghia nudibranch) but I wanted to be sure. Any ideas?

It looks like a berghia to me…any idea how it got there?

I just learned about dipping corals not too long ago
It kinda looks like a berghia to me but if it hitchhiked it’s very unlikely
I just learned about dipping corals not too long ago, so that’s probably why. I know better now lol!

Don’t be too hard on yourself. There’s sooo many pests in this hobby it can drive you crazy (you’re talking to the Vermitid snail and aiptasia queen here) lol I’d try to get that guy out with a turkey baster and remove any egg circles. Berghias breed like rabbits but I don’t know about other kinds.

Thank you! I learn something new everyday about this hobby lol. I guess I will learn from my mistakes.
