Is there any specific coral you’re excited to finally see in your tank? How long do you quarantine? Do you do any special treatment? Any specific coral you’re hunting for?

I’ll answer first. I quarantine every thing, that means I buy corals and inverts maybe once a year since it’s a tedious process. I’m on a leather coral kick right now so I’m excited for my aussie yellow toadstool. I’ve been trying forever to hunt down a leather coral like the one I saw at the Baltimore aquarium. Ive been trying to find a true yellow hammer but I don’t think it’s gonna happen this round.

I usually start my quarantine count down when the last coral goes in, which is usually 2 weeks minimum. I’ve eliminated ich from my tanks so I mostly quarantine to let any ich that may or may not be there die off any thing new. I dip most stuff in freshwater before it goes in, which has saved me from flatworms many times. Zoas get h2o2 which usually perks them up. I’ll also remove any algaes . If I can I remove the old frag plug for a new one that eliminates any hidden stuff I miss.

Here’s what I got this round-
Yellow Aussie toadstool
2 (hopefully different)Indo Green Devils hands
Gold/yellow Indo hammer
Long polyp green toadstool(brown atm)
Green cabbage leather
Astrea Snails, blue leg hermits and cerith snails

Zoas-
Watermelons
King midas
Scramble eggs
Purple hornets
Sakuras
Mean greens

What’s on its way-
japanese green toadstool
white polyp yellow toadstool
pulsing pink sinularia

I might have to move to a bigger quarantine tank since I’ve got 3 more leathers coming soon.

Few diff hammers and zoa for me. I also have a decent order in for some sps/acro. My 29g biocube was going to be my perk up tank for corals but it has turned into my rock flower nems, some lps, and some zoa tank lol

Little bleh looking right now. Waiting on nems to move out of cups so I can go grab my other 6 of them. And shrooms I'm not 100% sure what to do w them dunno if they will sting each other if I put them all around each other

I’ll probably do 100% wc once or twice a month.
