The cool thing about this hobby is that there are a million ways to do the same thing! Or so it seems. :)

Since this is a hobby and something we do for fun getting to a place where it's "set it and forget it" is not always the most fun or most successful. Sometimes but not all the time!

That being said what "new thing" are you going to try this year? (approach, method, equipment, aquascape, species etc.)

Switching to automated water changes....already have another DOS on order. I have been manually changing 15 gallons a week for over a year, every Saturday, without missing one. Not going to know what to do with this extra time :)

Giving 2-part dosing a try. I have been dosing kalk through my ATO. Got two BRS dosing pumps for Christmas. I have everything setup, just waiting for my ATO to empty out so I can clean it and fill it up with just RODI water.

Throwing on a third Kessil a16we on my 75gal to see if I can get into some more sps; give away some leathers to make room (and to avoid all that chem-warefare); and to find a reef-safe yellow fish that isn’t a jerk (that’s right; I’m talking to you Yellow Tang of 2018!!)

I want to plumb a frag tank into my big system, no idea how to do that or if my current sump will be able to handle extra water like that. Other than that I want to stop messing with things like flow schedules, it hasn’t been going well trying to dial in the flow on my 90/115

Added sBar supplemental actinic LED bar lights to my ATI T5 lighting. I’m very happy with them so far.

I'm awaiting a 100 gallon IM nuvo. Building a mahogany stand/rack that will also house my 25. Also building my sump out of a 40 gallon breeder. The 25 got me going...transitioning from Africans. Looking forward to my build. Already have the pukani cycling in a separate can. Btw. I love this site. I'm a relative newbie to saltwater and it's great to have so much info at hand! Happy reefing to you all this year
