I voted no. The tank is just starting to mature, so steady as she goes. Stocking corals (if I can find some I can afford!) and maintaining will be the primary activities.will be the only

Yes. It’s all new to me! Tank is only 6 months old. This month going to start running kalkwaser. But hopefully by July I’ll progress to a doser.

Keeping my hands out and just tending to normal maintenance :)
The first year has past and after the Black Friday sales I think I’m pretty much done and like I want it. So for now just gonna let things be stable and grow. Still not doing well with a few trial sps I got from WWC with the free silver subscription I won here. Only loss is to my pride. I’ll give it another try in a few months

I’ve added some moving K1 media to the first chamber of the sump and using Koi matting behind baffles.

It’s to create more surface area for the bacteria that’s feeds on NoPox with the k1 media and the Koi matting is absolutely amazing at trapping detritus, perfect environment for microfauna to breed and I’ve never known it clog or reduce flow even with minimal maintenance.

Planning on buying a new Red Sea reefer 350 when I move! But for now I just want to keep things as stable as possible so I can move only healthy fish and corals into the new tank.

Algae scrubber! Been running the tank for the last 12 months with no sump or skimmer quite stable with monthly water changes. Would like to build one just to see if it works!

I have two 120 gallon set ups so I get to play comparisons with each. One I have started a calcium reactor on, the other I was two part dosing but am going to switch it up a bit. This tank will be a bit over populated, I will feed like crazy, but stop dosing and do large auto water changes per day, 5 gallons per day and see how it goes. Anthony Calfo was a big water change advocate and he was quite successful so I want to see if it works in this manor. The tank with the calcium reactor will have maybe 10% a month water change and that's it, though it has fewer fish. Will post results throughout the year.

Having had 2 years of successful SPS reefing. I am going to simplify and return to a biologically based anemone system for my main 90 gallon display. I will rehome some larger fish and take my skimmer and calc reactor offline. Looking forward to a more simple take on reefing.

I am not planning a new thing to my tank. If it is not broken, don’t fix it. Stability is a key.

Kale Reactor. My Christmas gift to myself from Avast. Also thinking about a Gyre pump! A whole new sump build is not out of the question!
