Does your LFS disclose this info?

IME they get kind of stuffy when you ask if it’s wild or tank raised

What makes matters more confusing is sometimes they will brag a coral is a good price because it’s mariculture, but I get the feeling a lot of their corals are wild collected and cost MORE or the same as tank raised.

100% wild or maricultured. No aquaculturing. They don't disclose any information and would probably lie about it anyways if I asked.

A buddy of mine traded in his hammer colony for an apex, then they cut it up into frags for resale. I’m guessing it all depends on your area
