phosphate and nitrate shouldnt be at 0, that is an old train of thought that most dont want to ride anymore. It like being on the razers edge for coral health (this more applies to corals than fish, but 0 phos and 0 nitrate also can help dinos develop) Phosphate i aim for between .05-.1 and nitrate i aim between 2-10ppm

If you have an anemone in your tank they can also feed off nitrates. So a 0 nitrate tank isn't needed. You just don't want it to Ballon to like 40ppm. 2-15 is fine. And the fish are good with much higher nitrates but still 2-15ppm is a good number to stay between. Some corals even like higher nitrates. Also the hair algea may be causing your test kits to be a little weird algeas eat things we test for in our tanks so they can cause the true numbers to be off.

Ok so what should I do? Is it bad that there is no nitrate or phophate?
There might be nitrate and Phosphate and the algae is causing the reading to be weird or its soaking it up. I dont know exactly how that works. I just know that it messes up the readings sometimes. But for it to read zero its probably pretty low.

So you guys just today I went to my LFS and got some invertebrates for the saltwater tank. I got 2 scarlet hermit crabs 2 nassarius snails 2 astreae snails and a red tuxedo sea urchin. Well they were doing just fine when I was acclemating them then when I put them in I put the tuxedo urchin on the glass and everything was fine then I noticed that the sea urchin was not moving and had not moved in the past hour and then I noticed that all his tentacles went "in" becuse before they where all out and waving around. All the parameters are perfectly fine. He has not dropped any tentacles in case you where wondering but I am starting to get worried about the urchin. I think I didn't acclemate him long enough I temperature acclimated him for 20 minutes then I drip acclimated him for 20 minutes so in total it was 40 minutes of acclimation. Was I supposed to acclimate him more than that? Is this normal behavior? Do you guys know what's wrong? Please answer soon!

So it looks like the tuxedo urchin is dead becuse he has not moved at all since I last posted and he seems kind off limp also he cant even attach to thing ha will just fall off. I am so unbelievably sad and disappointed . And I think it was my fault for not acclimating him long enough. I feel so bad. RIP tuxedo urchin.
