Hey guys so my friends 13.5 gallon tank that's been setup about a year has a LTA anenome in it and from what I've been told these don't split? He doesn't know what to do, the anenome has quadrupled in size since he's gotten it and it's almost taking up one third of the tank. Is it possible to cut it through the mouth and have it become two? Should he just get rid of it? He's already thinking about upgrading tanks but not sure yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

The chances of killing it when cutting it are higher than it surviving.
